I was asked to speak to moms about how to handle the uncertainty that pregnancy brings about. I was also asked about how to handle the unexpected, which is why the birth of a child brings in a whole new set of worries. The question was about what to do if there’s a medical complication. The simple answer is to be proactive and to make sure the doctor is aware of the situation and what it means. The more complicated answer is to be proactive and to think ahead and prepare for the worst.
To handle the unexpected you can get a lot done with the help of the computer, but you can also make a lot of mistakes. That’s because as a woman, it is easier to make mistakes in the kitchen rather than in the office, so you should do as much preparation as you can for the worst event, whether it’s unexpected or not. Here to say that the baby will not look like a baby when it is born is a major statement that I think many people would not take for granted. I am not a fan of this statement. I think the baby will look like a baby, but not the way we usually look at baby. It is difficult for a mother who has just found out she is pregnant to look at her new baby and not see the baby she expected.
